Terms of use
Nutzungsbedingungen: the rules for using the Ascailia command portal.
§ 1 The service
The Ascailia command portal is a free, non-commercial tool for the members of the units in the Ascailia Network roleplay community: documents, boards and unit administration. It is run by the operator named in the Impressum. By signing in you accept these terms.
§ 2 Who may use it
You need a Discord account in good standing and must meet Discord's minimum age for your country. What you can see and do in each division follows your roles in that unit's Discord server; losing a role removes the access it gave. Keep your Discord account secure: whoever controls it controls your portal access.
§ 3 What you must not do
- post anything unlawful, including insults, threats, harassment, hate speech or extremist content;
- upload material you have no right to share, such as copyrighted works or other people's private data beyond what the unit needs for its records;
- share restricted documents outside the audience your unit gave them;
- try to reach areas your roles don't open, probe for vulnerabilities, overload the service or automate access without the operator's permission;
- pretend to be someone else, or use the portal to break Discord's or Roblox's terms.
§ 4 Your content
You keep the rights to what you post. You allow the operator to store it and to show it to the members of your unit who are allowed to see it, for as long as the unit uses it. Unit commanders and the operator may edit, archive or remove content and may suspend access if these terms are broken.
§ 5 Reporting content
If something on the portal infringes your rights or is unlawful, email ascailiaa@gmail.com with a link to it and the reason. We act on reports promptly.
§ 6 Availability
The portal is offered free of charge and as it is. We aim to keep it running but cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors, and we may change or end features.
§ 7 Liability
As the service is free, the operator is liable only for intent and gross negligence. This limit does not apply to injury to life, body or health, or where liability is mandatory by law.
§ 8 Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy. You can download your data or delete your account at any time on your profile page.
§ 9 Not affiliated
Ascailia Network is an unofficial fan community. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Lucasfilm Ltd., The Walt Disney Company, Roblox Corporation or Discord Inc. Star Wars, Roblox and Discord are trademarks of their respective owners.
§ 10 Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version shown here applies from the date below. German law applies. If you use the portal as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply.
